The Big Black Birthday Bash

This week the big man turned the big 4-0 and in celebration (or mourning?) we dressed in black and planned a surprise black themed day.
Mark has been part of the Stepladder family for 4 years and not once has he wanted to celebrate his birthday - every year vanishing for a day or two to keep his secret. This year we decided we’d had enough of the secrecy and missed opportunity for cake so, unbeknown to Mark, we found out.
A delivery of forty black helium balloons from Balloon Monkey gave the game away, followed by a team pizza lunch from Basilico, a huge indulgent cake (courtesy of Konditor & Cook) and customary bubbles. A great day of celebration captured in a very black team photo!
