Games, bacon & shots (not necessarily in that order).
With a 7:45am start, Christmas at Stepladder HQ was destined to be a big one. Our stomachs were lined with posh bacon rolls from Roast Borough – this was inevitably the only sensible decision that was made all day.
Forget the Christmas-spirit, we were all about the competitive-spirit. The TeamSport go karting track at Tower Bridge took a real beating and much to our dismay, it was of course BR who rinsed us and won first prize. Something tells me we’re going to be hearing about that win for a very long time to come.
Next up was a delicious three course lunch at an oldie but a goodie – Oxo Tower. Built in the 1920’s, those views over London feel somewhat nostalgic and it was the perfect location to sink a couple of bottles of wine, topped off with an espresso martini (or three).
The finale was one of Stepladder’s biggest and best nights yet. 20 Fenchurch Street is dear to our hearts for many a reason, but the Christmas party event at Sky Garden was like no other. Live music, unlimited drinks and dancing-a-plenty.
We’re a little bit nervous as to how we can top this for next Christmas.
