Formed by lifelong friends Will Pepperrell and Ben Richardson, whose aim was to fill the void of a world-class branding agency that specialised solely in property. Our leadership team has both client-side property experience combined with creative industry experience — this gives our ever-expanding team a unique blend and allows us valuable insight into the property sector.
As founding partner of Stepladder in 2009, Ben joined forces with Will after his rocket-propelled career in property had already taken off through marketing and client-side experience at Canary Wharf Group PLC and West Properties in Manchester. Ben is our man who makes things happen – supporting clients, directing strategy, planning campaigns, advising design, informing interiors – even helping construction. Ben is the Swiss Army knife of all things property.
When founding partners Will and Ben formed Stepladder in a recession-hit 2009 they knew that if they could make it through that – they could do anything. Will is the operations backbone of the business – always looking ahead – strategically forecasting company growth, troubleshooting our day-to-day and expanding Stepladder’s growing business portfolio. Will’s unique creative and financial experience ensures that today’s Stepladder team achieves everything it sets out to accomplish. Will also sits across our CGI studio – Beyond, as company director.
Spanning over two decades, Mark’s design experience is as varied as it is offbeat. Mark is a multifaceted designer and Creative Director with a proven track record of producing imaginative and relevant strategic, digital, print and branding projects. Mark oversees all of Stepladder’s projects, and is responsible for setting and implementing the creative vision for the agency. Mark also hires, manages and mentors an ever-expanding design team.
Lucy fell into the property world eight years ago at E-House, working on the Savills brand account. Later, through work on the global brand and marketing campaign for Southbank Place at Sectorlight, her job quickly grew into a passion, and Lucy upped sticks for the role of Senior Account Manager at M&C Saatchi London. Today, Lucy leads our attentive Account Management team who blend high production standards to deliver all of our brand, campaign and digital projects.
