Another Stepladder Christmas
With the upcoming studio move it seemed only right to have a final hurrah in our cosy ground floor studio, so we started our day off with a breakfast of mince pies, Christmas crackers and a toast to the future.
In true Christmas style we worked our way through tub(s) of chocolates and swapped Secret Santa gifts while wearing silly Christmas hats (obvs). Questionable gifts have become 'a thing' at Stepladder and this year was no different; edible human snot and earwax, a calendar of topless male models, a Nerf Gun and another selfie stick were among them – the unwrapping of a Beer Pong set however, resulted in much excitement!
Only when we felt a suitable amount of mess had been created in the studio did we move on in the direction of a cool new spot on the London Shoreditch bar scene, Flight Club. A little nook in Worship Street, offering an old pub favourite but with reimagined genius - Social Darts. Real-time scoring (created by an actual rocket scientist), a selfie taking leaderboard and animated scoring. We battled it out over cocktail and pizza before awarding the trophy (filled to the brim with a cocktail, of course) to winning team Will and Anders!
We then settled in for a three-course Christmas dinner at Blixen.
A great day out to celebrate another successful year and a final goodbye to our cosy ground floor studio, now to bring on our exciting new home and (an already) busy New Year.
